HOLES IN ONE:
There have been four holes in one in the history of the Ryder Cup.
Mike Schrauben recorded the first hole in one in Ryder Cup history in 2008, when he aced the 144 yard second hole at Arcadia Bluffs using a gap wedge. Witnessing the event was his playing partner Mike Fullman, and their opponents - who just happened to be their fathers - Larry Schrauben and Bob Fullman.
Marc Summers recorded the second hole in one in the 2012 Ryder Cup, when he aced the 167 yard 17th hole on the Fazio course using a six iron. Witnessing the event was his playing partner Patrick Traynor, and their opponents - Mike Sherwood and (once again) Bob Fullman.

Joe Tignanelli recorded the third hole in one in the 2017 Ryder Cup, when he aced the 105 yard, 2nd hole on the Smith Signature course using a 50 degree wedge. The hole in one occurred while playing the Step aside scramble, so it was witnessed by his teammates Mike Sherwood, Jordan Birch and Zack Carter.

It was witnessed by his teammate Brad Crighton, along with their opponents, Jimmy Mehlberg and Kevin Zott. The ace was good enough to win the hole. This was Bryan"s first ever hole in one.
