2005 Ryder Cup Championship:
In this years edition of the Ryder Cup, we commenced the festivities at Wyndgate Country Club in Rochester Hills. The Americans jumped out to a 10 point lead led by a key win with Tommy "Chong" Bruce teaming up with John Ciszewski to not only clip Bryan Andrews and Dave Chapman - but in their celebration we witnessed the scariest chest bump ever seen. After heading to Treetops for the remaining rounds, we were witness to some of the strangest Ryder Cup events, both on and off the golf course. Getting bizarre directions from a waitress, Bryan Andrews teaching Brad Crighton the fine art of drinking Canadian Whiskey, golf carts driven in a bunker, and a two foot missed putt by Mike Flood to miss the "Pot of Gold". With some strong coaching from Captain Rich Bieszki, the Americans increased their lead, and took a comfortable 109 - 92 lead in to the single matches. After grabbing 6 of the 10 singles matches - Team USA defended their title. Leading the way was John Ciszewski going 4-0-1, while teammates Curt Flater and Bob Fullman chipped in with 4-1 records. European Captain Mike Flood led his charges going 4-1, with Larry Schrauben and Cliff Detloff the only other members of the losing team to sport a winning record.
