RULES:
1. 1 POINT FOR WINNING MOST HOLES ON FRONT NINE, 1 POINT FOR WINNING MOST HOLES ON BACK NINE, AND 1 POINT FOR WINNING THE MOST HOLES.
2. TEES WILL BE ADVISED FOR EACH GOLF COURSE PRIOR TO PLAY COMMENCING
3. WHEN A "BREAKFAST BALL" IS PERMITTED - IF YOU HIT IT - IT MUST BE PLAYED.
4. NO TOUCHING THE BALL EXCEPT ON FAIRWAY (ROLLING OVER ), (UNLESS PERMITTED UNDER FORMAT RULES) - PENALTY IS LOSS OF HOLE
5. CONSULT OPPONENT IF UNABLE TO IDENTIFY BALL - BALL MAY BE TURNED, BUT NOT PICKED UP.
6. CONSULT OPPONENT IF BALL IN FOOTPRINT (UNLESS ITS YOUR OWN) IN BUNKER - RAKE AND PLACE
7. YOU MAY REMOVE STONES FROM BUNKERS
8. PLAY ALL UNMARKED / UNSTAKED WOOD OR GRASSY AREAS AS A LOST BALL - DO NOT HIT A PROVISIONAL OFF THE TEE. GO TO WHERE BALL CROSSED INTO WOODS, DROP IN EDGE OF FAIRWAY (PLUS 2 STROKE PENALTY.) SO IF OFF THE TEE - YOU ARE HITTING YOUR 4TH SHOT. FOR ALL OTHER LOST BALLS, PLAY AS A LATERAL HAZARD WITH A ONE STROKE PENALTY.
9. THERE IS WATER ON SOME OF THE COURSES, AND WHILE THESE HAZARDS MAY NOT BE 'STAKED' RED - SHOULD YOU HIT YOUR BALL IN THE WATER THEY ARE TO PLAYED UNDER THE RULES OF " PENALTY AREAS" . IN ADDITION, YOU MAY REMOVE LOOSE IMPEDIMENTS IN A PENALTY AREA AS WELL AS GROUND YOUR CLUB.
10. IF A "DROP" IS REQUIRED, IT MUST BE DROPPED FROM KNEE HEIGHT.
11. IF IN DOUBT - PLAY TWO BALLS AND RESOLVE FROM RULES COMMITTEE AFTER THE MATCH
12. USE COMMON SENSE.

Three Balls:
You are permitted 2 drives off the first tee. If you hit a second ball, you must play it. Both team members play their own ball from tee until they hole out. Double the best score and add the other score. Team with lowest total, scores the point. Do not concede birdie or par putts, as during this format this is a skins game.
Shamble:
Breakfast ball allowed. Both players drive - then select the best drive. From this point you both play your own ball until you hole out. Only the Best score (or best ball) count. Team with lowest total scores the point.

Scramble: Breakfast ball allowed.Both players tee off , (one drive each), then choose the best ball. You both hit from this spot (without changing the type of surface), select the best shot and continue this until you hole out. Record one score.

Better Ball: You are permitted 2 drives off the 1st tee. If you hit a second ball, you must play it. Both players play their own ball until they hole out. Take the best score of the two as your team score.
Chapman:
You are permitted two drives off the first tee. You then switch shots and hit each others tee ball. After the second shots - select the "best ball" and alternate shots until you hole out. You record one team score.
Modified Alternate Shot:
Both players drive. Choose the best drive, and alternate shots until holing out. If a penalty occurs, continue to alternate shots, as you do not hit two consecutive shots. You need to record one team score

Step - aside Scramble: All four players are from the same team. All players hit from the tee and select one of the tee shots. The person whose shot is selected, DOES NOT hit a second shot, only the other three players take a shot. Then take the best shot, and the players who shot is selected, DOES NOT hit a third shot. The remaining three players then hit the third shot, You continue this format (including on the green) until you hole out, record 1 score. Cards will be matched at the end of the round against all other teams on the same course. Each match is worth 3 points.The player who is not included in the following shot, does not get a practice shot or practice putt) Team must putt out.

Threetops: Stableford Scoring System
Scramble format: Take the best tee shot, both players hit/ putt until they hole out. Record one score - with an eagle worth 6 points, birdie 4 points, par worth 2 points, and a bogey worth 1 point. Team with the most stableford points wins the match and gets 2 points. If tied, each team gets 1 point.

Singles Matches: Two nine hole matches, plus a point for the player who wins the most holes. .
You are permitted two balls of the first tee. If you hit a second drive you must play it. Play your own ball until holing out and even if hole is conceded , if the putt is for birdie or par - you must putt out. You are playing individual matches against one other player in your foursome. Each match is worth three points.
