











2014 RYDER CUP ............. Tigers roar and clip the Wings
In the opening round on split courses - the Tigers eeked out a 1 point victory at the Jones course, while over on the Smith, the Tigers clawed out a 51 - 29 victory to set the Tigers up with a 91.5 - 68.5 day one lead - a lead they would never relinquish.
Day 2 included 36 holes of golf - and by the time it was over, the Tigers had a 63 point lead 271.5 to 208.5.
With only one round on Sunday - lots of time spent around the pool and and outside BBQ was held to top off the day. The Tigers took a 68 point lead in to Monday's singles matches. With Captain Brad Crighton celebrating victory with a 526.5 to 433.5 win over Bryan Andrews and the Detroit Red Wings - the Tigers had 3 players go undefeated with 5-0 records = Jordan Birch, John Ciszewski, and Matt Franz, with Bob Brydges going 4-0-1. Kevin Zott was solid for the Red Wings with a 3-2 record, while at the same time, did not need to "taser" any of his opponents.
