At this years event the second hole in one in the history of the Ryder Cup was recorded on opening day.
On the seventeenth hole of the Fazio Course, a 167 yard par three, Marc holed a six iron while rookie playing partner Patrick Traynor looked on. Playing opponents Mike Sherwood and Bob Fullman were stunned, yet happy for their opponent. Everyone needs to note that Big Country has witnessed both holes in one, and they occurred in round one - you may want to be Bob's opponent in Round 1.
Marc collected $1,350 from the balance of the field, which he got to share with everyone at the bar later that night.
